Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen
Arrival in Tangier, collection and panoramic visit of the city, especially the medina or the Great Mosque. The Plaza 9 de Abril stands out, one of the largest in the city and meeting place of its inhabitants. Then we will take the road towards Chefchaouen. The charm of Chefchaouen is to get lost in its narrow streets full of small shops, observing its houses painted blue and white.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Midelt
Transfer to Midelt through Ifrane, Fez and the large cedar forests. Stop in the city of Ifrane, known as the small Switzerland of Morocco, which stands out for its Central European urban style given its cold weather in winter (1,713 m.) And the lion statue, which testifies to the lions of the Middle Atlas that They lived there in the past. We will also pass through the town of Azrou, known for its cedar forests and the cute monkeys that inhabit them. It will be night in Midelt.
Day 3: Midelt - Merzouga (the desert)
We will continue in the direction of Merzouga, passing through different villages, towards Erfoud, passing through the well-known Ziz valley, where you can admire the contrast between the most arid landscape and the lushness of the Ziz river bank and its palm groves and being able to observe daily life of the inhabitants that inhabit its shore. The Ziz river flows about 300 kilometers to enter the Sahara desert on the border of Algeria. At noon we will arrive at Erfoud, known for its fossils and the wonderful desert roses, and where we will eat. We will continue to Merzouga, where we will arrive in the afternoon. Merzouga is located right at the foot of the great dunes of the Sahara desert, and those who wish may walk around the sand and watch the sunset. Night at selected hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga - Khamlia - Nomads - Merzouga
We will rise before the imposing desert of the Sahara, and visit the oasis of Merzouga, as well as the town of Khamlia where the Gnawas (descendants of slaves who came from black Africa) live where we can enjoy their peculiar music. Then we will pass through a river of sand, panoramic view from a mountain to observe the desert in all its splendor. We will continue to the town of Mefis, where there was a settlement of Frenchmen who worked in the mines of Khol, currently abandoned. We will visit a nomadic family in the middle of the dunes and enjoy their company having a tea. Return to the hotel for lunch and at sunset departure with the camels about an hour to spend the night in Berber camp in haimas inside the dune and dinner and everything and depending on the time of the year you can make bivouac under the stars and enjoy the wonderful tranquility that permeates the whole place.
Day 5: Merzouga - Fez
In the morning departure by dromedary or quad to Merzouga again. Shower and breakfast to depart in the direction of Fez. We will pass by Rissani to visit its local market and that was one of the bases of the old caravans that crossed the Sahara towards Timbuktu. We will pass through different Berber villages until we reach Fez. Visit the city and it will be night in Fez.
Day 6: Fez - Tangier
