Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes
We will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Hassan II Mosque before leaving for Rabat. Upon arrival in the capital we will visit the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After lunch we will leave for Meknes to be late.
Day 2: Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen
After breakfast we will depart to visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then we will drive through the rural areas, where we will see the hills full of olive trees and fruit trees. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Ouezanne before continuing through the Rif Mountains to the "blue city" of Chefchouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen
You will have a free day to discover Chefchouen. We will visit the gardens of the Kasbah and its small museum, a modest collection of ancient weapons, as well as instruments, textiles and some historical photos of the city hostels; There is also an art gallery on the walls. You can explore the Medina to see the incredible variety of shops or take a walk on one of the many trails that make up the town.
Day 4: Chefchaouen - Fez
In the morning we will use it to rest or enjoy other visits of Chefchaouen.
Then we will continue to Fez.
Day 5: Fez
You will have a guided tour to discover the Medina, the famous souks of Fez, its narrow cobbled streets that are full of ancient mosques with towering minarets. You will also have the opportunity to visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fez, in addition to visiting the tannery factory and cooperative pottery to see traditional Moroccan crafts.
Day 6: Fez - Azrou - Midalet - Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga (440 km)
After breakfast we will leave for Merzouga through Ifran which is known as the Switzerland of Morocco; Then, we pass through Azrou the famous city for its green tile roofs and beautiful cedar forests that are considered as the natural habitat of the monkeys. Then, we will go to Midelt where you can enjoy your lunch.
We will continue the path through the mountains of the Middle Atlas to meet the nomads who live there. In the southeast near the city of Errachidia you will appreciate the high cliffs and the Ziz Valley, surrounded by palm trees. At the next stop, Erfoud, you will have the opportunity to visit a marble industry that is full of a variety of decorations. After that we headed to the final stop of the day, Merzouga. There you will spend the night with dinner and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 7: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Tamrdanite - Khamlia Hassi El-Bied
In the morning after breakfast you will start the excursion from the hotel that will take you through the sand dunes near the border with Algeria where you can have the opportunity to take photos and see the formation of black volcanic rock, you can also visit Nomadic families and see their nomadic lifestyle. Next, we will pass near small Berber villages like Tamrdanite before reaching Khamlia, a small village. In which, you can enjoy the spiritual music of Gnawa, played by the Berbers of black ethnicity. On our way to the hotel you will appreciate the view of Lake Ait Sareji (especially in spring), which attracts pink flamingos and many other birds. Then, we will return to the hotel to rest and prepare for an adventure (camel ride) in the heart of the desert. On the way to the Bivac, you can see the spectacular sunset from the great dune. You will taste the Berber food, listening to the drums on a starry night and sleep in a traditional tent (haima) in the desert. In the morning, we will get up early to see the threat before going back to the hotel.
Day 8: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Tinjdad - Todra Gorges - Dades Boumalene
Next, we are on our way to Rissani through the Ksours and Kasbahs of Tafilalet. There we will visit the Zaouia de Moulay Ali El-Charif, the mausoleum of the Alaoui dynasty the founder, we will take a walk to discover the local market and the traditional souks in Rissani. Then we will go to Tinghir through Arfoud and Tinjdad where we will have lunch. Then we will continue to Tinghir where you can walk among the magnificent palm oases. You will spend the night in a Kasbah that includes dinner and breakfast.
Day 9: Boumalne Du Dades - Kelaa M’gouna - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Tizi N’Tichka - Marrakech
