Day 1: Casablanca to Fes
Day 2: Fez to Merzouga
We will start our excursion in the desert early in the morning by picking you up at the hotel / riad. Then we are on the road to Merzouga. On the way, we go through the Azrou forest, Cedar Gouraud forest; there we will stop to check the rare and distinctive Berber monkeys. Then we will continue through the Ziz Valley (known for its thousands of palm trees). Then we left for the village of Erfoud (known as the desert gate). From there, we will continue our route to Merzouga where we will spend the night in a traditional hotel.
Day 3: a day in Merzouga
The next morning, once we have had breakfast, we will start our visit of the dunes through the native Berber villages. See you soon, visit the village of Khamlia (also called African village), where we will stop to listen to live Gnawa music performed by locals. Then continue to see more of the magnificent and immense Sahara to visualize the nomads and their distinctive approach to life. At the afternoon, we will go back to the hotel. From where we start another camel journey at night to the tent of the nomads.
Day 4: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
The next morning and early morning, we have to get up to admire the beautiful sunrise over the dunes; then return by camel to the hotel (where we will have breakfast) before continuing our trip to visit the beautiful gorge Todra (nicknamed the Grand Canyon of Morocco). Then we will cross the road through thousands of Kasbahs (the Dades Valley) through "Skoura", the oasis of palm trees. Simply to finally arrive in Ouarzazate to spend the night in a hotel or a riad.
Day 5: Ouarzazate to Marrakech
The next day, after breakfast, we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where many famous films are shot. Then we will continue our way to Marrakech through the mountains of the Great Atlas, through the illustrious Tizi-N-Tshka road. We spend the rest of the day exploring the breathtaking and remarkable sights of this glorious city.
